The Rock School for Dance Education’s COVID-19 Policies
Updated March 18th, 2024

Our goal at The Rock School for Dance Education is to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.  Following suit with the recommendation from The Center for Disease Control, we highly encourage all eligible individuals from our student body and team members to obtain a bivalent Covid vaccine and annual Flu shot.  These viruses are prevalent throughout the year and have not yet established any predictable seasonality.  If the majority of Rock School participants follow the CDC’s recommendation, it will increase our chances of providing uninterrupted training throughout the year.

Based upon updated guidelines issued by the CDC on March 1st, 2024, we are no longer requiring dancers who have tested positive for COVID to isolate for five days.  In alignment with CDC recommendations, our guidelines for COVID now match recommendations for flu and other respiratory illnesses.  Effective immediately, dancers who have been sick may return to classes once they are feeling better and are fever free for 24 hours. If you have a question concerning your health, please wear a face mask in all public spaces and separate from team members to eat. If your dancer lives at The Rock School residence and needs to be isolated due to illness, you could be required to pay additional expenses for care and lodging.

Please note that performance venues have their own vaccination and public health policies. Dancers must follow those protocols to participate in any planned performances.

Any questions regarding these policies should be directed to info@therockschool.org. These protocols are subject to change as circumstances dictate and we will continue following CDC guidelines. We appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation. Thank you for being part of The Rock School.
