2027 Summer | Ages 3-8
Summer is the perfect time for young dancers to explore the joy of movement, build confidence and technique, spark creativity, and make new friends in a fun and nurturing environment. Our Philadelphia location offers weekly Pre-Ballet classes for 5-weeks for dancers Ages 3-6. Our West Chester Location offers week-long themed Dance Camps designed especially for children ages 4–8. No previous dance experience required. Students must be required age as of June 15, 2027.
Philadelphia Pre-Ballet

Our Pre-Ballet classes for ages 3-6 introduce children to the joy and excitement of movement, imagination, and music through a developmentally-appropriate curriculum. Classes meet once a week; no previous dance experience required. Students must be required age as of June 15, 2027.

Girls: Solid-color leotard; ballet tights in a shade that matches the dancer’s skin or light pink; ballet shoes in a shade that match the tights. Attached skirts are permitted; no detached skirts or tutus.
Boys: Plain close-fitting dance shorts or biker shorts, athletic leggings, or tights; fitted plain white t-shirt; thin white socks, white ballet shoes.
Official Rock School attire is available through The Dance Boutique at The Rock School in Philadelphia and online! Current Rock School dancers are permitted to wear their spring 2026 dress code attire or their fall 2026 dress code attire.

Dress Code - West Chester
Dancers are encouraged to wear something they love and that brings them joy (as long as they can move freely). Ballet slippers are recommended, but dancers are welcome to dance barefoot if they do not have shoes.
