Train, refine, and transform this summer as you take your dancing to the next level with The Rock School’s Private Coaching Intensive. This unique program for ages 13-18 is an exclusive opportunity for a limited number of students to receive personalized, high-level training concluding with an evaluation by a panel of our expert faculty.
Each day combines technique classes, targeted pointe or jumps & turns training, and a 30-minute private coaching session to help dancers elevate both artistry and technical precision as they work with Rock Faculty one-on-one.
The five-day intensive concludes with an in-studio showing wherein dancers perform coached variations for a panel of our esteemed full time faculty. The culminating event is open to the public. Following the showing, all students will receive written feedback from our expert faculty via email.
Classes during the Coaching Intensive are open to non-registered students to be purchased on a per-class basis until each class reaches maximum capacity. Purchase of individual classes do not include private coaching or admission into the final showing.
Please be advised that space in the Private Coaching Intensive is first come, first-served, and may fill to capacity before the end of our national audition tour. Acceptance does not reserve your space in the program.

Sample Daily Schedule
Minimum of 3 total hours of instruction per day including a mandatory technique class (1.5hr), pointe or jumps & turns class (1hr), and one 30 minute coaching session. Students are also invited to take an optional second technique class and an optional second pointe or jumps and turns class daily.Group 1
9:00–10:30 AM – Technique (Open Class)
10:30 AM–11:30 PM – Pointe / Jumps & Turns & Stretch (Open Class)
11:30–12:30 PM – Lunch
From 12:30–4:00 PM: 30 minute Private Coaching sessions are scheduled (1 per student per day)
Group 2
1:30–3:00 PM – Technique (Open Class)
3:00–4:00 PM – Pointe / Jumps & Turns or Stretch (Open Class)
From 4:00–6:00 PM: 30 minute Private Coaching sessions are scheduled (1 per student per day)
Each week concludes with a Student Showing in the evening where dancers perform coached variations and receive written feedback from a professional panel of full time Rock School Faculty.

$950.00 for one week (Select Session #1 beginning on 6/14 or Session #2 beginning on 7/27)
$25 Registration Fee and full tuition due at time of registration
Single drop-in classes for non-registered dancers will be available for purchase in May of 2027. -
Full room and board accommodations are available during Private Coaching Intensive Session #2 ONLY. Housing is not available for Session #1. Move-in occurs on Monday July 26, move out occurs on Sunday, August 1.

AUDITION:
Dancers accepted into The Rock School Ballet Intensive are automatically accepted into the 2027 Private Coaching Intensive.
