The Private Coaching Intensive Scholarship winner will be announced on Friday, June 5, 2026.

Choose to attend this season from Monday, June 15 - Friday, June 19, 2026 or defer your scholarship to the summer of 2027.

  • Open to dancers ages 10-18. 

  • Minors must receive permission from a guardian to submit a scholarship form. 

  • Awardee receives 100% tuition scholarship ($750 value) for Private Coaching Intensive.

  • Travel and housing not included in scholarship. Recipients must obtain their own accommodations.

  • One scholarship form per person containing one video link only. Duplicate forms and multiple videos are not permitted.

ABOUT THE PRIVATE COACHING INTENSIVE

Open Classes | Private Coaching | Public Panels | Written Feedback

Train, refine, and transform this summer as you take your dancing to the next level with The Rock School’s Private Coaching Intensive. This unique program for ages 10-18 is an exclusive opportunity for a limited number of students to receive personalized, high-level training concluding with an evaluation by a panel of our expert faculty.

Each day combines technique classes, targeted pointe or jumps & turns training, and a 30-minute private coaching session to help dancers elevate both artistry and technical precision as they work with Rock Faculty one-on-one.

The five-day intensive concludes with an in-studio showing wherein dancers perform coached variations for a panel of our esteemed full time faculty. The culminating event is open to the public for a minimal fee with advanced reservations. Following the showing, all students will receive written feedback from our expert faculty via email. 

  • Sample Daily Schedule
    (3 total hours of instruction per day)

    Group 1

    • 9:00–10:30 AM – Technique (Open Class)

    • 10:30 AM–11:30 PM – Pointe / Jumps & Turns & Stretch (Open Class)

    • 11:30–12:30 PM – Lunch

    • 12:30–4:00 PM – Private Coaching (30-minute sessions)

    Group 2

    • 1:30–3:00 PM – Technique (Open Class)

    • 3:00–4:00 PM – Pointe / Jumps & Turns or Stretch (Open Class)

    • 4:00–6:00 PM – Private Coaching (30-minute sessions)

    Final Friday

    Each week concludes with a Student Showing in the evening where dancers perform coached variations and receive written feedback from a professional panel of full time Rock School Faculty. The viewing fee for the showing is $10 per person and is open to the public. A video recording of your dancer’s performance will be available for purchase as an add-on.
