Intro Boys Class

All boys registered for Pre-Ballet 6 - Ballet 2X at The Rock School are invited to take a free ballet class once a week with Telmo Moreira! Class meets in Studio C at the 1101 South Broad Street location. Boys dance together with a male teacher and learn about the athleticism of dance study. Please contact the Front Office at registration@therockschool.org to register for this special opportunity.

New students are welcome to join this class if they register for an appropriate ballet class for their age and experience at either Rock School location. 6-year-olds may be enrolled in Pre-Ballet 6; 7-year-olds may be enrolled in Ballet 1; those aged 8 and older should contact the Front Office or the Rock West Office for guidance regarding placement.

22-23 Permission to Leave Residence

The Permission to Leave Form should only be filled out when parents/guardians are signing their dancer out and they are not under The Rock School's care.

Note to Students

NO Ballet Slippers / warmup Booties outside school premises

  1. Streets/sidewalks are very dirty.  This dirt and grime is tracked into the Ballet Center making floors and studio floors dirty and slippery.  Not conducive to dancing.

  2. Ballet slippers wear out quickly on concrete and asphalt.

  3. Studio floors are “sprung.”  Concrete is hard on little feet that only have a ballet slipper for support.
