The Rock School Summer Ballet Intensive is a selective, audition-only program that immerses aspiring dancers in a minimum of three classes per day, plus rehearsals, plus classes on Saturdays for Levels 3-6.  The Rock School offers Adagio, Men's & Women's Variations, Pointe, Repertoire, Injury Prevention, & more! The Rock School Summer Intensive accepts students ages eight and up. 


AGES 4-7

Specifically designed to meet the needs of students that have little to no experience.  A nurturing class environment with focused attention on proper alignment and technique.  Click below to learn more about how you can register your child in this immersive and fun ballet experience where they will be introduced to basic ballet vocabulary and technique.


AGES 5-18

The Rock School for Dance Education's Hip Hop program provides fun classes that allow students to develop physical fitness, mental fortitude, creativity and cultural understanding. Classes feature a variety of musical genres, old school and new, in order to expose students to the wide range of styles that fall under the Hip Hop umbrella.


AGES 16+

This Vagonova-styled ballet class is an excellent general maintenance class for the already trained intermediate-beginner student. Eva Szabo leads the class with dedication and over 40 years experience guiding dancers through the ballet curriculum. No registration and/or professional experience required to attend.


AGES 8-20

Train with elite international and national students while you immerse yourself in sunlit studios. Cultivate relevant relationships and gain professional career insights with company directors.



Rock Academics provides a flexible, college-preparatory curriculum that is integrated into each student's daily routine.  Students move forward at a pace suited to their individual abilities, earning middle and high school credits, and culminating a high school diploma.  The Academics program augments the online education with on-site courses and group activities, keeping students engaged and part of the Rock Academics family.  Through all this, Rock Academics prepares students for future success in higher education.



The Rock School offers Room & Board (including meals) at both Cabrini University and the Marine Club condominiums.  Resident students are provided with full supervision, fun activities, events, and a comprehensive meal program at the Rock Café.  The Residential program provides a supportive and nurturing learning environment that promotes responsibility, citizenship, and independence while students pursue their goals in dance at The Rock School.  


Both commuters and residents are welcome to attend our scheduled weekend outings. The Rock School puts together excursions to various places around Philadelphia such as the Philadelphia Zoo, Longwood Gardens, the Jersey Shore, and various Malls. Activities can also take place outside of Philadelphia such as New York City Broadway plays and Dorney Park's Wildwater Kingdom. Check out our calendar to see where we're headed to next!
