ABOUT Pre-K Program

Building independence, cultivating the joy of movement and the freedom of expression. Our carefully designed program is the perfect introduction to movement for your budding little dancer. Studies show a direct correlation between early exposure to music, drama & dance with proficiency in math, reading and writing. These classes are less structured and combine dance, songs and story time in a nurturing class environment.

Fall 2018 Semester begins on September 4th

2 to 4 years of age.*
No experience required. 

SATURDAYS  8:45 - 9:30am

$75 per Quarter
$300 per School Year

NOTE: ALL CLASSES ARE CAPPED AT 15 STUDENTS. YOU CAN PUT YOUR NAME ON A WAITLIST. PAYMENT RESERVES SPOTS.

Stretch and Tone Ballet (60 minutes)

*Class runs simultaneously with Hip-Hop Kids

Per class/drop-in: $12
Class Card: $100 for 10 classes

Saturdays .............. 12:30pm - 1:30pm

We have something for our parents and adults too! Introducing Adult Beginner Pilates/Barre Fitness, where we mix the art of ballet with core Pilates principles to engage the body and mind.

I am beyond excited by the progress I have already seen in our Spring Funtime Preschool Class. I look forward every week to continuing to learn and grow alongside your young dancers. As we move forward with this session, we will continue to build independence and organization during our dancing adventures!

I am so proud of all of my two year olds years and the progress of our classroom! Im so excited to see what we can achieve as the session continues. I want to continue working on basic motor skills and balance.

Miss Vanessa
Pre-K Hip-Hop • Ages 3-4

Vanessa Baker, the first African American Miss New Jersey USA, competed in the nationally televised Miss USA pageant and donated her time to over twenty different charities and foundations during her reign. She was the official American Red Cross Penn-Jersey Region spokesperson where she promoted blood donation, a cause near and dear to her heart. A native of Marlton, NJ, and a graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Vanessa started to pursue a career in broadcasting. Currently, she is working on her show “The Wish List” as co-executive producer and creator. Vanessa has been dancing for over 30 years and was a member of the Jazz Unlimited Dance Ensemble for eight years. She has done guest choreography for Philadanco and the Philadelphia Sixers and New Jersey Nets dance teams.

Miss Chrissy
Pre-K Gymnastics • Ages 3-4


Christina Eltvedt, "Ms. Chrissy", recently graduated from Temple University with a master's in fine arts in dance. Prior to moving to Philadelphia to pursue her graduate degree, Christina lived and worked in Chicago as an artist, performer, choreographer, and dance teacher for many years. Within that time span, she performed nationally for the Joel Hall Dancers, Danszloop Chicago, and celebrated dance master Paul Sanasardo. As an independent artist, her choreography has been widely showcased on stages and site-specific locations nationally with a recent international debut in Gujarat, India.

Miss Kalila

Adult Barre/ Pilates

Kalila Kingsford Smith is a Pilates instructor, dance teacher, and independent choreographer based in Philadelphia. As an instructor, she works with students to access the support of the core in order to achieve maximum flexibility of the spine, while offering opportunities for deep engagement and creativity within the learning process. Kalila received her Pilates certification through Drexel Pilates, has an MA in Dance from Temple University, and a BFA in Dance and BA in Anthropology from the University of Michigan.

DISCOUNTS:

Sibling/Family Discount: 

Applies to families with at least two children enrolled in the Children’s Summer Program who do not have another scholarship or discount.  A 5% discount will be applied to the tuition of the student with the lower tuition.

Pay in Full Discount: 

Applies to students who register before or during Quarter 1 and provide payment for all four Quarters at once. A 5% discount will be applied to the tuition total.

Discounts cannot be combined with other discounts or scholarships.
