Thank you for your interest in The Rock School for Dance Education.

The Rock School offers Ballet classes for all ages and levels, beginning dance, gymnastics, and hip hop classes.

NO AUDITION REQUIRED

The following classes listed below do not require an audition. Registration may be completed by downloading the pdf below or online.
  • Pre-Ballet I (4 or 5 years of age)       
  • Pre-Ballet II (6 or 7 years of age)       
  • Ballet: Level 1 (8-10 years of age, depending on previous training)        
  • Open Adult Ballet (18+)
  • Creative Movement (3 years of age, as of Sept. 2014)
  • Gymnastics (4-7 years of age)
  • Hip Hop - Junior (6-10 years of age)
  • Hip Hop - Teen (ages 11 and up)
STEP ONE: REGISTER
Both online and paper registration are available below. If submitting registration online, please download the medical care waiver below and submit to the front office. The paper registration packet already contains the medical care waiver form.
Students awarded any sort of scholarship (young boys scholarship, city dance, merit-based) are required to register with the paper registration packet.

STEP ONE: REQUEST/SCHEDULE AN AUDITION

BY AUDITION ONLY

New Ballet Students ages 8 and up must audition with The Rock School and be placed in an appropriate level by Rock School Faculty & Directors prior to enrollment. Please look to the right for instructions on how to audition. Returning Rock School students should have received level placement for the 2014-2015 school year and may proceed to registration.
  • Ballet: Level 1x
  • Ballet: Level 2
  • Ballet: Level 2x
  • Ballet: Level 3
  • Ballet: Level 3x
  • Ballet: Level 4
  • Ballet: Level 4 (8 classes a week during weekday afternoons & Saturdays)
  • Ballet: Level 5 (8 classes a week during weekday afternoons & Saturdays)
  • Ballet: Level 6 (8 classes a week during weekday afternoons & Saturdays)
STEP TWO: REGISTER
Both online and paper registration are available below. After receiving acceptance and level placement, students may proceed to registration.

PROFESSIONAL DIVISION 

Full-time ballet students are required to register with the professional division packet below. Full-time students include those in the Rock Academics program, students living in the Residence, and any international students.

STEP ONE: AUDITION
Students may request to audition at The Rock School or may submit a video audition.
STEP TWO: REGISTER
A downloadable paper registration packet will be available below. After receiving acceptance and level placement, students may proceed to registration.
STEP THREE: MEDICAL PACKET
A downloadable medical packet is below. All full-time students are required to complete and submit the medical packet found below.
