CLASSES AVAILABLE FOR

  • beginner dancers ages 3-11
  • training dancers ages 12 and up
  • adult dancers ages 18 and up

New Ballet Students ages 12 and up must audition with The Rock School and be placed in an appropriate level by Rock School Faculty & Directors prior to enrollment. Students ages 11 and under are not required to audition. Please email  to set up an audition or receive more information. 

Convenient online registration is available through The Rock School's online registration system. Families may view their account, pay tuition, performance participation/ Company fees at any time, 24 hours a day. Families will need to create a username and password to register.

An annual registration fee (families pay their registration fee as a new student after July 31, 2012), a scholarship fee (if applicable), and a first quarter tuition deposit is required to secure enrollment. 

Payment may be made via our automatic online bill pay system or via check, cash, or money order. If you wish to pay by check, cash, or money order, we accept these forms of payment at our Rock Center front office or via mail. Checks may be sent to:

DISCOUNTS & SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

  1. 5% discount for every additional sibling for families.   
  2. Scholarship amounts vary and are broken down into the following categories:

  • MERIT - The Rock School offers a limited number of full and partial tuition Merit Dance Scholarships, primarily to students in the upper levels. These scholarships are based on talent and ability and are awarded only by The Directors. 
  • YOUNG BOYS - The Rock School is proud to support the training of young male dancers. Scholarships are available to male students, ages 3-11 in ballet levels Pre-Ballet 1 through Level 2X, who show an eagerness and commitment to dance.  The young boys scholarship does not include Creative Movement.
  • CITY DANCE - The Rock School’s City Dance program enables The School to identify and train talented students, who meet financial based eligibility requirements. Upon acceptance to the program students receive a partial to full tuition scholarship through high school.

 

*IMPORTANT* For those families with a student eligible for a scholarship and/or discount, after setting up your account online and choosing a class, Rock School administration will contact you within 1-2 business days to update your balance with the scholarship and discount applied, as well as address any questions you might have. Your initial balance as seen before check out will not reflect your total amount due until Rock School administration applies the changes. Once the changes have been made and you are notified, you may sign into your account and complete the checkout process.

DANCE PAYMENT AGREEMENT

Agreement effective for The Rock School’s Year Round Session for the 2012-2013 School Year.

All Dance Tuition paid to The Rock School is non-refundable and non-transferrable.  

Dance tuition includes class instruction and select rehearsals.  If a student elects to participate in supplementary performances, competitions, outings, or other activities throughout the 2012-2013 school year additional fees may apply.  

PAYMENT TERMS

The Parent/Guardian named on this 2012-2013 Year Round Registration Form is responsible for the tuition Subtotal.

Dance tuition is paid quarterly or annually on a pay-in-full basis. Tuition as outlined in 2012-2013 Dance Tuition Rates table found on The Rock School’s website on the bottom of this page.

Quarterly payment dates are as follows:
1st Quarter Due Upon Registration
2nd Quarter November 12, 2012
3rd Quarter January 28, 2013
4th Quarter April 7, 2013

Quarterly payments are defined as four equal installments of the annual tuition rate. The full quarter payment MUST be received prior to the start of each quarter.  If payment is past due the student may not be permitted to attend class.  

LATE PAYMENTS

$25 late fee will be assessed for quarterly payments over five business days past due.  For every additional five-business-day period that payment is not received, an additional fee of $25 will be assessed.

WITHDRAWAL & DISMISSAL POLICY

If a dancer chooses to withdrawal from The School, a written notification must be completed by parent/guardian and submitted to the front office. Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Withdrawal written notification must be submitted within the first week of the first quarter and at least one week before the start of any other quarters. Credits are not transferable to another student, sibling,showcase fees, performance fees, summer programs or next year. Students may only participate in school productions and register for summer programs (inc. Rock Center) if accounts are paid in full by posted due dates. Tuition payments not outlined in this form must be handled by the school.  

All extenuating circumstances must be reviewed by The Directors. Please contact the front office at  for assistance.  In the event of an expulsion or dismissal by The Directors, all tuition paid to The Rock School, on behalf of the discharged student, is forfeited by the student.
