IN SCHOOL & AFTER SCHOOL RESIDENCY PROGRAMS
The Residency Programs offer high-quality, weekly instruction in a variety of dance forms. These programs are designed to bring the arts into urban neighborhoods and to provide a constructive, goal-oriented outlet for youthful energy and talent.

The program engages and stimulates the participants’ academic, compositional, artistic, and movement skills. The interactive nature of the program adds a three-dimensional approach to learning that is especially appealing to the current generation of young people.

ACADEMIC LESSON SERIES
The Rock School Academic Lesson Series includes teacher workshops and lesson plans tailored to Pennsylvania and New Jersey standards and utilizes movement as a tool to support the core academic subjects of Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies.

The K-2, 3-5, and 6-8 Academic Lesson Series are developmentally and academically appropriate for students and can be integrated to support individual lessons and class plans. Each Academic Lesson Series includes a specially designed outline informing instructors of the standards covered in each lesson for each subject and eight unique lessons for each of the core academic subjects.

The Rock School Academic Lesson Series is flexible and designed to strengthen academic skills, develop social skills, broaden students' interests, and keep students constructively and actively interested and engaged.
