18 Rock dancers have power enough at Youth Grand Prix in Swarthmore.
This week, top Rock School students step up to the world's largest dance competition.
WEST CHESTER, PA – West Chester Dance Theatre, a local not-for-profit
performance company, will hold its annual performance of The Nutcracker
featuring the international, local and medal winning students of The
Rock School for Dance Education. Performances will be held December 14
through 16 at The Haverford School’s Centennial Hall.
At rest, their feet looked like those of ordinary fourth graders -
standing on a scuffed linoleum floor in orange sneakers and sturdy
black loafers and sparkly pink shoes.
Two days a week, fourth-graders at a Kensington school pirouette into the wonderful world of ballet. And they're not complaining about it.
Students from The Rock School West joined Macy's in helping to raise
money for local not-for-profit organizations on Saturday, October 13th
at Macys in Exton.
